A 1994 Hermann-Spielwaren GmbH... Coburg, Germany  #147/500  "See Through" Growler Teddy Bear.  Designed by Ulla Hermann, daughter of Rolf-G. and Dorle, this Transparent Teddy was created for an International Design Competition, and meant to show the inner workings of their original 16" Mohair Jointed Growler. She wanted to combine something New, while keeping the Hermann traditional manufacturing fundamentals intact. He is jointed, his growler growls, stuffed with excelsior and numbered on his foot.  This Bear is nearest mint and displays all of the required  tags, button, foil tag, and markings to verify its' authenticity. I contacted the company regarding this teddy and
received
an e mail from Martin Hermann acknowledging the bear and quoting a value of 400 Euros.
MEASUREMENTS:   Approx.    16"  overall
WEIGHT:  1 1/2  pounds
CONDITION:  Excellent, original condition.  Please see pics.
COMMENTS:   Low production numbers,  only 500..  So unique, unusual, Hard to Find...  Have you ever seen another?  There is some interest in this Teddy at the new museum in Sweden..  What a great investment Teddy!!...   What a conversation piece for your collection!   Referenced in Wikipedia..
