    These adorable 5 inch tall golden Mohair teddy bears are made by Hermann, a well known German teddy bear maker not commonly seen here in the USA. They have brown eyes, a black horizontally stitched nose, a stitched mouth, felt paws, and are fully jointed. They are five-way jointed which is quite a feat for such small bears! They were bought in 1981 by our Mother, dressed by her, and stored all these years with her other collectible bears - these German bears are looking for a new owner to love and care for them.
    I believe (though I did not undress them to be absolutely sure) that the two dressed bears have the trademark red and gold metal chest tag which says "HERMANN Teddy ORIGINAL" sewn onto their chest with a red thread. Likewise they all have a golden "MOHAIR" tag attached to their chest with a plastic tie. On their right arm they each have a sewn-in cloth tag that says "HERMANN-Teddy-Original, Made in West Germany, Outer Covering 53% Wool 47% Cotton".
    These bears come from a smoke free, pet free environment.
    From my Ebay, Amazon, and web searches, these little Hermann teddy bears are not easy to find. Not many were found on either Ebay or Amazon. To find one in such good condition is a real treasure! They would be a great addition to your Hermann or German mohair collection or would make a wonderful gift for a collector.
